First came the passion for computers and how they worked. When I was 9 or 10 years old, I would take apart my computer and dissect it bit by bit to see if I could put it back together. Later I became interested in how websites work; how they're programmed, how they're hosted and how it all worked together.
When I was in college I already knew how to make sites using HTML and PHP and even write software in Visual Basic. I then did a bit of work experience when I was at college, which was the first time I released something to the public.
Me and my old friend from secondary school then crossed paths and we collaborated together writing our many sites and applications for local businesses.
In more recent years I have focused mainly on developing web apps due to the professional experience I've gained working for a few companies. It became second nature.
I have considered game development in the past but I had a couple of lucrative offers in the web development world which I couldn't pass up on.
I currently live in the North East of England.
Due to having experience in many different areas, I have started consulting for a few individuals and companies. This could include suggesting adjustments, developing features from scratch or generally improving efficiency and security of clients' websites.
